Blue BeltIt’s taken a while, but I was recently promoted to 2nd degree blue belt (November, 2008). All this means is that I know just a bit more than the white belts. (:

I truly love learning the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). It keeps my mind and body healthy and definitely relieves stress. Plus, the guys in the school are very cool. We all learn a lot together.

I’ve got a looooong way to go, but I will definitely enjoy the ride.

Thanks Professer Parker!

DK: Thanks! I study at Gracie Barra San Diego (by USD) and love it. I was at the Poway location, but they closed it to focus on their Encinitas location. I know you’d really dig it becuase at some point you could get in there and roll with your buddy Coach Tompkins, or one of his guys. (:

p.s. Besides the USD and Encinitas locations, there are locations in Del Mar and Miramar.

Congratulations on the promotion!
Where do you study at?
As soon as I get a little free time I would love to be studying jiu-jitsu.
