Thank you for wanting to learn more about me.

I am currently the CEO for SpeedyPin Phone Cards and Vox Call, a prepaid international calling service. My post “SpeedyPin and Vox Call – An Overview of My Work” offers more details.

To the core, I am an Internet marketing professional working and living in San Diego, California. I have over 12 years of hands-on experience managing search engine optimization strategies (SEO), search engine marketing strategies (SEM) and affiliate programs, as well as 8 years of managing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising campaigns.

What got me here? I have been using a computer of some type or another since my early adolescence. While attending San Diego State University pursuing a Business Degree, I decided to take the first Internet Marketing class ever offered at SDSU. Needless to say, I became immediately ADDICTED to the concept of marketing on the Internet. I took the second class and was eventually asked to TA the next year, but I was graduating and wanted to get a job working for an Internet company ASAP.

And, in January 1999—fresh out of college—I landed my first Internet marketing job with a local San Diego Internet marketing company. The position: Internet Marketing Intern. The pay: $9/hour. No matter! I worked hard, and within 3 months I was promoted to Internet Marketing Manager. The rest they say, is history. What a ride it’s been!
